Salman Khan’s ‘Tubelight’ rakes in Rs 227 crore even before its release, here’s how!

Salman Khan’s films are not for their record breaking spree at the box office. His next Eid release – Kabir Khan’s Tubelight has been wrapped up and sources tell us it’s shaped up amazingly well.

The makers have already sold their music rights and theatrical rights for record breaking prices. Don’t believe us? Tubelight has already earned Rs 227 crore even before its release.

How? Well here’s the lowdown. The Salman Khan starrer has been picked up by NH Studioz in India. They have paid a whopping Rs 132 crore for its theatrical rights in India. Along with that, the film’s theatrical rights have gone for another Rs 75 crore in China alone. That makes ir Rs 207 crore just from the theatrical rights.

And the music of Tubelight has also been sold. Sony Music India has bought the music rights for the Salman film at Rs 20 crore, one of their highest bids in recent times. So in total, the Kabir Khan directorial venture has raked up a storm by collecting Rs 227 crore, almost three months before its release. Wow!
