Felt ‘spineless’ after having to apologise in ‘hostage video’ before Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’s release: Karan Johar OPENS UP!
Remember the troubles Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil had to go through? After the Uri attack, political parties threatened the filmmaker to replace Pakistani artists Imran Abbas and Fawad Khan in his film.
Despite fighting for his rights, eventually when Karan was cornered and he realised the parties won’t let his film release, he sent out his statement in a video. While it was a serious and grave situation back then, KJo’s good friend Twinkle Khanna even made fun of it on his show Koffee with Karan and called it a ‘hostage video’.
Now, during an interview, he revisited that incident and said, “I felt spineless after having to apologise in ‘hostage video’ before Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’s release.” Karan was just being honest!
