LaCie’s Thunderbolt 3 dock offers up to 20TB of storage
LaCie announced the latest version of its RAID storage dock, and it takes full advantage of Thunderbolt 3. The LaCie 2big Dock comes with up to 20TB of storage and can transfer files at a very quick 440MB/s.
It also features a number of ports including a USB 3 (front) and USB 3.1 (rear) ports, two Thunderbolt 3 ports, a DisplayPort, and SD and CF card slots. LaCie says the 2big Dock will be available in 12TB, 16TB, and 20TB variations when it’s released this summer, although pricing has not been announced yet, but we expect it to have a similarly big price tag.
