Born on April 24, 1973, Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar rules the hearts of cricket loving Indians and fans of the sport across the world.
The true blue Mumbaikar turns 44 on Monday. He is an inspiration to young generation for the way he has carried himself through the illustrious career spanning 24 years. 3 years after the retirement he still holds the record for most number of International centuries. He was an important part of the team winning 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup for India after 28 years.
Cricket became synonymous to Tendulkar. From a toddler to pensioner chanting Saaaachiiiiiiiiiin, Sachin became the winning mantra. One person became a billion dreams.
