BJP president visit invigorates party cadre in J&K
BJP president Amit Shah’s ‘Mission Jammu and Kashmir’ has infused a new life among the party cadre in the restive state.
On the second day of his tour on Sunday, Shah inaugurated Nana Ji Deshmukh library, launched e-library and attended a book release, besides meeting the RSS leadership in Jammu.
Shah started his day with a breakfast meeting with RSS leaders in Jammu. He then drove to the RSS office and held meeting with the party office-bearers. The meeting assumes significance given the deteriorating law and order situation in the valley and the strain in the PDP-BJP ties.
Later, he inaugurated the Nani Ji Deshmukh library and e-library. He also had informal meetings with noted personalities and a few select mediapersons.
Shah also released the poetry collection ‘Hathali Pe Suraj’ of senior party leader Darakshan Andrabi at the party headquarters in Jammu.
The biggest takeaway from the Shah’s Mission J&K was that the cadre left their differences behind and projected a united face to prepare for 2019 elections.
“His visit has really rejuvenated the cadre. They are now geared up for taking party to greater heights in 2019 polls,” said Sheikh Khalid Jehangir, BJP spokesman for Kashmir.
