Shraddha Kapoor to Parineeti Chopra: B-Town celebs CONDEMN London terror attacks
Two sudden terror attacks took place in London on Sunday, claiming the lives of at least six people and leaving about 20 others injured. CNN reports suggest that Met Police Assistant Commissioner Mark Rowley informed that a van struck people on the London Bridge at 5: 08 pm on Saturday evening.
Reportedly, the van then sped across the London Bridge running over some more pedestrians, as it headed towards the London Bridge station on the south bank of the river. Several reports suggest that the vehicle then drove towards the nearby Borough Market where three assailants got out and attempted to stab civilians in a restaurant.
B-Town woke up to the horrific news and took to Twitter to condemn the terror attacks. From Ayushmann Khurranan, Parineeti Chopra, to Shraddha Kapoor and Shekhar Kapur, celebs mouned the lost lives and prayed for peace.
Here’s what some of them wrote:
Praying…..for these acts of terror to stop…for love and peace to spread….Devastated & heartbroken hearing about the #LondonAttacks
