Police arrest father-son duo syndicate
Delhi Police have arrested a father-son duo who used to procure electronic items from gangs at cheap prices and then sell them into the market at profitable prices, which were, however, less than the market price.
Police said the duo also supplied electronic items to local markets like Karol Bagh, Palika Bazar and Gaffar and are suspected to be funding these gangs to keep their business running. Over 50 phones and a dozen stolen laptops with two lakh cash have been recovered from them.
The accused have been identified as Nand Kishore alias Karate, 47, and his son, Subhash, 22, who were residents of Sultanpuri area.
According to senior officers, the arrest was made after information was received by special staff of the outer district that a criminal identified as Nand Kishore would come to L-Block in Mangolpuri in a Swift car.
“Following this, the police team laid a trap on Saturday and around 1:40 pm, the duo was seen approaching a Swift car parked nearby. They had two bags in their hands.
