DIAL wins prestigious award for excellence in cost mgmt
The Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) has secured first place under the category of Infrastructure and Construction Services in the 14th National Award for Excellence in Cost Management awarded by the Institute of Cost Accountants of India. The award ceremony was held in New Delhi earlier this week.
The award was conferred by Piyush Goyal, Union Minister of State for Power, Coal, New and Renewable Energy, Manoj Sinha, Union Minister of State for Railways, and Arjun Ram Meghwal, Minister of State for Finance and Corporate Affairs.
Commenting on the win, DIAL CEO I Prabhakara Rao said: “This award is a testimony to our continued effort to be a cost-conscious organisation. It is also a recognition of our effort in areas such as efficient use of tech, on-time performance, shorter aircraft holding and taxiing times, and lower security check times. DIAL is driven by innovation, operational efficiency, and customer-centricity. We have adopted innovative and cost-effective initiatives, such as Collaborative Decision Making. As we go along, we will ensure strong and sustainable delivery of efficient cost management system.”
