Twitter starts organizing tweets by topics in the Explore tab
Twitter is trying to make it easier for users to find content relevant to their interests. The company confirmed in a statement to Buzzfeed today that it’s now sorting tweets by topic in the Explore tab, regardless of whether you’re following these users. The feature rolled out to iOS and Android today. The topics surface based off what Twitter thinks you like. My Explore tab, for example, shows “Popular in Tech News” and “Popular in World News.”
