Mission 360: Maharashtra BJP begins organisational rejig, appoints ‘vistaraks’
Maharashtra BJP unit has launched a massive organisation rejig to contribute big way to party president Amit Shah’s Mission 360 plus seats in the next general election. Apart from further strengthening the coordination between the party led government and the state unit, the focus is laid on increase in party’s presence in all 90,000 polling booths, hold at least two training camps of office bearers in 358 talukas in 36 districts and bring people from various sections of the society into the party fold.
This apart, the party has appointed “vistarak” for all 288 assembly constituencies across the state. These vistaraks are expected to associate at least 25 persons per booth with the party in a serious bid to increase party’s base.
The state unit has organised a day-long meeting on September 9 in Mumbai to discuss slew of initiatives to further strengthen the organisation so that the party wins maximum of the total 48 Lok Sabha seats in Maharashtra. The state unit has already come out with a 25 page booklet on a roadmap to make organization stronger with coordination among top and grassroot workers.
