The Asus ZenFone V is a $384 Verizon exclusive with last year’s specs
Some carrier exclusive phones are interesting, like the original iPhone on AT&T. Most others, however, tend to be less novel. The Asus ZenFone V is squarely in the later category, a device that boasts last year’s specs and almost nothing notable about it beyond the (admittedly cheap) $384 price tag.
From a design perspective, the ZenFone V looks kind of dull, and the bezels flanking the screen look painfully large compared to newer (and more expensive) flagships like the Samsung Galaxy S8, Essential Phone, LG V30, and iPhone X.
