SOG nabs 2 for Panchkula violence
The Special Operations Group (SOG) of the Rajasthan Police arrested two men on Tuesday, who are wanted criminals of Haryana state and had a major role in the violence spread after the arrest of self-styled godman Gurmeet Ram Rahim.
Identified as Pal Singh and Baljinder Singh, the duo has been arrested from Ganganagar. “The duo are natives of Goluwala. A few days back, the SOG had received an input that two men – accused of the violence at Panchkula in Haryana after the infamous Dera Sacha Sauda issue – were hiding somewhere in Goluwala area. The team was tasked with identifying the duo and develop further leads. Highly placed sources in the SOG revealed that they did not want the men to conduct any crime in the state.
