If we can’t give them bread, give them khakra: Twitter responds to GST cut of popular Gujarati snack
Twitter went into overdrive on Friday after Finance Minister Arun Jaitley announced that the GST for khakra, a popular Gujarati snack, had been reduced to 5% from 12%. Jaitley made the announcement during the Goods and Service Tax Council Meet that gave a breather for small and medium enterprises in the country.
However, in the midst of it all, it was khakra that was doing the rounds on Twitter.
