Unique tribute planned by MP govt to mark Kishore Kumar’s 30th death anniversary
Legendary singer Kishore Kumar on his 30th death anniversary will be remembered in a unique way by sculptor-singer duo from Maharashtra. Madhya Pradesh government has invited sculptor Pramod Kamble from Ahmednagar and singer Jitendra Bhuruk from Pune to show their respect for the famous singer.
While Bhuruk will sing legendary singer late Kishore Kumar’s songs for almost 4 to 5 hours continuously, Kamble plans to prepare a 3/4 th clay bust of Kishore Kumar,right in front of audience. The program will take place today at Gaurikunj auditorium in Khandwa and department of Culture of Madhya Pradesh has organized this rare tribute program for the son of Khandwa, Kishore Kumar.
Bhuruk said that it is a great honour for him since he has been singing Kishorda’s songs for many years and having an opportunity to perform his songs at his birth place is nothing but Kishoreda’s blessings.
