SPOTTED: Xiaomi Redmi 5A official image, to include 8-day battery life
The Redmi 4A smartphone will soon get a successor. A leaked image of the purported Redmi 5A has surfaced online which offers a glimpse at the smartphone’s design along with a few specification details. Th company is expected to release the Redmi 5A on October 20.
The image was spotted on Chinese website ithome and sports a metal body design with antenna lines on the top of the panel. You can also spot the camera with LED flash on the top left along with the Mi logo at the center on the back of the smartphone. Interestingly, the bottom of the poster states that the new device would offer a battery life of 8 days.
According to a TENAA listing, the Xiaomi Redmi 5A, which is spotted with the model number MCE3B is rumoured to come with a 5-inch display, 1.4 GHz quad-core processor which is coupled with 2GB/3GB RAM. It will be offered in 16GB/32GB storage variants with a microSD card slot, expandable storage up to 128GB. It will come equipped with an 8MP rear camera along with a 5MP front-facing camera.
Running Android 7.1.2 Nougat with MIUI 9 on top, it will be backed by a 3000mAh battery. …read more
