‘2G Saga Unfolds’: Manmohan Singh offered me tea, I handed him my resignation letter, writes A Raja in new book
Nearly a month after acquittal in ‘2G scam’ case in trial court, former UnionTelecom Minister A Raja is coming out with a tell-all memoir in which he is likely to make a few revelations that would ruffle some feathers. In the book, titled ‘2G Saga Unfolds’, Raja targets former Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) Vinod Rai for making a monstrous claim of Rs 1.76 lakh crore loss to the exchequer in 2 Spectrum auction.
He, however, reserves the sharpest remarks for former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh who he accuses of not standing by him when the allegations of wrongdoing surfaced. Raja writes that Manmohan Singh’s silence was like “silencing of our nation’s collective conscience.”
The book about alleged 2G spectrum allocation scam in 2007-2008 will be released on January 20.

‘Manmohan had no knowledge of CBI raids’
Raja claims that Manmohan Singh did not have any knowledge of the CBI raids on Telecom Ministry in 2009.
