But it was the revelation that Bill Murray plays Steve Bannon could easily be the hightlight of the latest episode.
The American politics was a massive rollercoster of shock and shock last week that began with explosive revelations made in Michael Wolff’s book titled ‘Fire and Fury.’
The book features Bannon’s scathing comments about Donald Trump Jr calling his meeting with the Russian lawyer during the 2016 presidential election campaign as “treasonous” and “unpatriotic.”
He reportedly also said, “They’re going to crack Don Junior like an egg on national TV.”
Picking up on this issue, the comedy sketch show, which usually features Bannon as nothing but a death, satan skull, surprised the viewers by casting Bill Murray for the role.
Murray was sat with SNL alum Fred Armisen, who played author Michael Wolff, as two guests for MSNBC’s morning show Morning Joe. SNL cast members Alex Moffat played Joe Scarborough and Kate McKinnon played Mika Brzezinski.
