Budget 2018: BJP to up agri income, ex-CM Ashok Gehlot asks how
BJP state president Ashok Parnami appreciated the Union Budget and said that this budget will bring revolutionary results in all areas and said that it will accelerate the development of the country.
While addressing the media at the BJP headquarters, Parnami said that the Union Minister, Finance, Arun Jaitley presented a very good budget. “By 2022, we will fulfill the target of doubling the income of farmers, following the initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” he said. Special provisions have been made for Rural Haats, Agricultural Markets, Food Processing, Operation Green.
In health sector, 24 new medical colleges have been given a gift. Parnami added that Jaitley presented a new direction for education, rural development, digitization, social security, infrastructure development and for industries. State General Secretary (organisation) Chandrashekhar said that the budget will bring the results of development in the field of social justice.
He added that the allocation of Rs 56,620 crore and Rs 32,508 crore for the welfare of SC and STs will certainly help in bringing the backward class forward.
