Gonorrhea in China shows waning susceptibility to WHO-recommended antibiotics
Neisseria gonorrhoeae strains resistant to azithromycin and/or with decreased susceptibility to ceftriaxone are common in China, according to a prevalence study. The study also showed that the prevalence of dual resistance in N. gonorrhoeae isolates increased from 2013 to 2016.
