Kanika Kapoor: Music is a universal language that transcends all boundaries
Kanika Kapoor has been making the right noises worldwide as recently she became one of the first Indian singers to perform at Buckingham Palace, in the presence of Prince of Wales Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall Camilla. The singer, who is also the brand ambassador of British Asian Trust was invited to the royal address for a grand gala organised by the royal family to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Trust.
Representing Indian music in UK, Kapoor not only interacted with the Prince but also entertained the attendees and guests with her power-packed performance that had music curated by music producer Naughty Boy, who has made music with Beyonce and Sam Smith.
Talking about her royal rendezvous, Kanika said, “Interacting with Prince Charles was a huge honour and it was amazing to be hosted by him. I believe it’s the passion of music that binds nations together. Music is a universal language that transcends all boundaries and bonds people from all corners of the world.”
