Syfy has renewed The Magicians for a fourth season
The magicians are coming back. Syfy announced today that it has renewed the fantasy television show The Magicians for a fourth, 13-episode season, which will premiere in 2019. The show is currently midway through airing season 3, which premiered on January 10th.
The Magicians is based on Lev Grossman’s bestselling trilogy of novels, which follow aspiring magician Quentin Coldwater and his friends as they attend a magical academy called Brakebills, hidden in upstate New York. They discover that Fillory, the fantasy world of a popular children’s book series, is real, and that life as magicians isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.
