SSC shocker: Class X student dies of ‘heart attack’ the night before first paper
They say that examination pressure gets to students, and this case cites how tough the surroundings can be for those taking board exams. A 16-year-old boy died, reportedly of a heart attack before his first SSC paper, which was scheduled to be held today i.e. March 1.
The fateful incident took place on Wednesday night in Mumbai’s central suburb of Dadar. The boy, Rutik Ghadshi, a student from Shishuvihar School in Dadar, was scheduled to take his SSC examinations today.
Dr Avinash Supe, Dean of KEM Hospital, Parel said, “On Friday night, Rutvik was brought to the hospital, but he was declared death on arrival. As the victim was brought dead, I cannot confirm whether he died of heart attack. We have conducted the post-mortem and handed over the body to his family. The report will be submitted to local police station”.
Earlier in February, ahead of the board exams for Class 10 and 12, PM Narendra Modi interacted with students to advise them in beating exam stress.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has asked all schools to make necessary arrangements for the programme to be made available for students through TV or radio on February 16.
