Girls Going Global program to be supported by Australia India Business Council’s Women in Business Chapter
The Australia India Business Council (AIBC), the peak body facilitating bi-lateral trade and investment between Australia and India, has partnered with Dearin & Associates’ Girls Going Global campaign. Under the scheme, one lucky female entrepreneur will receive a full scholarship to the International Business Accelerator, to help them take their small business global. The announcement was made on International Women’s Day – March 8, 2018, a day to celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.
Commenting on the partnership, AIBC National Chair and National Chair of AIBC Women in Business Chapter said: “Australia India Business Council’s Women in Business Chapter members have a strong interest in or are actively engaged in bilateral business, and the vision of AIBC WIB 50-50 is to encourage equal gender representation of all businesses in the bilateral India-Australia space. As such, AIBC and AIBC WIB are proud to partner with Girls Going Global campaign for this initiative.”
“If you’re a female entrepreneur thinking of taking the next step and launching your business on the international stage, I would encourage you to apply now and make your global dreams a reality. It’s never been easier for you to enter a foreign market – distances have shrunk, travel has become easier, and technology has made it more convenient for bilateral collaboration,” added Ms Nandkeolyar.
