LG will bring AirPlay 2 support to its 2019 TVs
Following in the steps of Vizio and Samsung, LG is also aligning itself with Apple by supporting AirPlay 2 on its 2019 smart TVs, out of the box. Enabling AirPlay support will allow Mac and iPhone users to easily play music, videos, or mirror your device’s screen.
As Apple puts it, “with AirPlay 2 and HomeKit, you can use Siri on your iPhone to send a video to your TV. Better yet, ask Siri to play a specific show in a specific room.” LG’s TVs will also support Apple HomeKit, just like Vizio has confirmed for its TVs.
