# Jason Holder (57 off 64 balls) has posted his highest score in ODIs, bettering the 56 vs South Africa at Sydney on February 27, 2015. His back to back fifties are the only two half centuries in ODIs.
# Both the fifties are recorded by Holder in a losing cause in ODIs.
# Holder became the second batsman to post two fifties while batting as number nine batsman. Lance Kluener (SA) had accomplished the feat – 52 not out vs Sri Lanka at Northampton on May 19, 1999 and 52 not out vs Zimbabwe at Chelmsford on May 29, 1999. Jason Holder (WI) has emulated Klusener’s feat – 57 vs India at Perth on March 6, 2015 and 56 vs South Africa at Sydney on February 27, 2015. Australia’s Andy Bichel, Sri Lanka’s Guy de Alwis and Zimbabwe’s Ian Butchart have achieved the distinction once each.

# Dhoni’s unbeaten 45 is his highest in international cricket in Australia since December 2014.
# Holder and Jerome Taylor were associated in a stand of 51 – the highest ninth-wicket partnership by a West Indian pair in World Cups, bettering the 42 by the same pair against South Africa at Sydney on February 27, 2015.
# Denesh Ramdin has recorded his first duck in World Cups – his third in ODIs. He has posted five single-digit scores out of ten World Cup innings played.
# Chris Gayle, with 279 runs at an average of 55.80 in five innings, is the leading run-getter in World Cup 2015.
