Radhika Apte denies having ‘reacted to any new outlet’ over the nude video leak
Radhika featured in the nude video which was leaked online and was doing the rounds on WhatsApp.
A day after media reports came that actress Radhika Apte had “laughed off” the whole nude video leak controversy, the actress took to Twitter to clarify that she has “not reacted or given any statement to any news outlet”.
Radhika Apte, who was seen in ‘Badlapur’ and ‘Hunterr’ recently, tweeted:
Just to clarify I have not reacted or given any statement to any news outlet.

The leaked nude video was part of a 20 minute short film by filmmaker Anurag Kashyap. According to a leading daily, Radhika had told E3 Talkies in an interview, “I don’t have time for this. You know the whole world has lots of people, who have no jobs. They sit at home and do whatever they want to do. So you can’t waste your time on going and making a complaint or even looking at it.”
I saw it and laughed it off because it is really funny… I am really busy. I can’t waste my time doing that. My family and I never get affected by any of these things. So it just doesn’t bother me.”
Radhika featured in the nude video which was leaked online and was doing the rounds on WhatsApp.
Anurag Kashyap has been furious over the leak of the video which he says was shot as part of a short film meant to be viewed abroad. He had also approached the Mumbai police with a complaint last week.
Anurag further said that he felt responsible for the leak and asserted, “It has to be some Indian guy there, otherwise other material from other sources that is much more sexual is available to the west and something like this does not get them excited. I had shown the film before sending it to many of my friends including Vikramaditya Motwane’s mother and she cried as she felt it was so powerful and we needed to put out something like this. Radhika Apte herself was so proud of it. But when you put out a video like this without context, people start making jokes on it. You try to take a step forward as a filmmaker, they take you five steps back. And she feels victimised and I feel responsible.”
