‘Gallan Goodiyaan’ song from ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ was shot in 5 minutes

After Zoya Akhtar’s last successful film, ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’, fans are eagerly awaiting the release of her forthcoming family drama, ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’.
The film’s first song, ‘Gallan Goodiyaan’ has been released. Though the entire song has not been launched, the preview gives the audience a peek into some of the happenings on the cruise.
Apparently, Zoya Akhtar shot the song in one take. While the planning and rehearsals took time the shooting of the song was done in less than five minutes.
“We had to plan every detail before we started shooting for the song. There was a lot of planning and management to be looked into. The song would not be possible without Bosco Caesar and Carlos my DOP,” said Zoya.
She further added, “It was challenging but fun. There is a version of the song out and the feedback on it has been very positive and overwhelming. The audiences will get to see the entire song in the film.”
‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ revolves around a Punjabi family holidaying on a cruise. Starring Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma, Priyanka Chopra, Anil Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar and Shefali Shah, the film will hit theatres on June 5.
