Vehicle in Haryana CM Khattar convoy rams into bike
The accident took place while Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar was on his way to Panipat to attend a BJP leader’s funeral.
A recovery vehicle in Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar’s convoy on Sunday rammed into a motorbike on Panipat-Sanauli road in Panipat, leaving two youths seriously injured.
The accident took place while Khattar was on his way to Panipat to attend a BJP leader’s funeral.
Police said the youths were travelling on the motorbike on the wrong side of the road. “They got in the way of the cavalcade. The recovery vehicle, which was in the rear end of the cavalcade, collided with the motorbike. The youths were rushed to hospital. One of them is stable, but the other is critical,” a police officer said.

On March 2, a Karnal resident died after a PCR vehicle in Khattar’s convoy ran over him. Satpal Kashyap, a painter, died on the spot while two PCR personnel sustained injuries.
The injured were identified as Neeraj of Atawla village and Vishal of Nimbri village. The youths, who were not wearing helmets, were rushed to the Panipat civil hospital in a PCR vehicle, from where Vishal, who suffered a head injury, was rushed to a private hospital.
Soon after the accident, senior officers of police and district administration reached the spot.
