After “Mary Kom” was named the Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment, Priyanka posted on twitter:

In the titular role of the biopic of real-life boxing champion M.C. Mary Kom, Priyanka, a National Award winner herself, essayed a fearless woman, who becomes a national icon through her determined pursuit of sporting excellence. In a show of true sportsmanship spirit, she congratulated director Vikas Bahl for winning Best Hindi film for “Queen”, which even won the Best Actress gong for Kangana Ranaut. Priyanka, who is currently in the US to film TV series “Quantico” further posted:

The film won Best Male Playback Singer for Sukhwinder Singh for the song “Bismil”; Best Dialogues and Music Direction for the film’s director Vishal Bhardwaj; Best Choreography for Norway-based Sudesh Adhana; and Best Costume Designer for the effervescent Dolly Ahluwalia.
