Truth shall prevail, tweets Yogendra Yadav after AAP leaders accuse him of maligning Kejriwal’s image
Senior AAP leader Yogendra Yadav
Hours after 4 senior AAP leaders hit out at Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan for ‘working against the party during Delhi polls’ and for attempting to malign the image of Arvind Kejriwal, Yadav tweeted saying that truth shall prevail.
Yadav, who along with Bhushan was shunted out of the party’s Political Affairs Committee (PAC), added that he welcomed the statements of his colleagues and that he believed it would begin the possibility of ‘open, transparent dialogue.’
I welcome the statement by 4 colleagues. Begins the possibility of open, transparent dialogue. Truth shall prevail.

Hope this statement ends all slander, planting of allegations. Hope no more coercion of party functionaries and Delhi MLAs on this issue.

Hope PB and my response will also be duly publicised by the party media. Hope party’s website will be opened for all volunteers responses.

The AAP has been hit by bitter strains of infighting with allegations that Yadav and Bhushan wanted to remove Kejriwal from the national convenor’s post. On March 4, in a national executive meeting, a majority of the senior leadership of the party thus voted to oust Yadav and Bhushan from the PAC — considered the highest decision-making panel of the party.
Yadav, who is likely to release a statement today along with Bhushan, told news agency ANI that AAP MLAs in the Delhi assembly are being forced to sign a letter against the two leaders.
I’m told Delhi MLAs are being forced to sign a letter against us, I hope this ends: Yogendra Yadav pic.twitter.com/S4CqysFHIa
