Watch: Winnie the Pooh returns in first ‘Christopher Robin’ trailer
The latest classic to join Disney’s live-action bandwagon is Christopher Robin. On Monday, the studio unveiled poster for the upcoming movie and on Tuesday, a teaser trailer dropped.

Christopher Robin was based on AA Milne’s son Christopher Robin Milne. He featured in Milne’s children’s stories Winnie-the-Pooh and The House at Pooh Corner. Later in 1966, Disney adapted the stories in animation for Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree. These stories show Christopher Robin as a wee lad. The 2018 live-action adaptation takes a jump in future.
The 1.10-long trailer starts with grown-up Christopher, played by Ewan McGregor, who has to neglect his wife and daughter to give more time for his job. Sherlock star Mark Gatiss plays his boss. After seeing off his family, Christopher Robin arrives in a park, wanting to find a solution for his problems, when he meets a friend from the past – Winnie the Pooh.
