RSS camping out to send message of social harmony
With elections approaching, every day we get to see parties pulling a rabbit out of their hat to woo the potential voters. The Sangh Siksha Vargas (training camps) by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is one such tatic to draw support for the BJP.
The RSS had set a target of contacting over one lakh 60 thousand families of various communities across the state through the camps.
So far, nearly 4,000 volunteers were involved in the camps organised at seven places across the state. Moreover, food for swayamsevaks was supplied from the houses of various communities on the camps’ site so that the RSS people could connect with the families.
A few days back, the Congress president Rahul Gandhi had released a video calling RSS and BJP anti-Dalit. It was not for the first time that the Congress president targeted the RSS and the BJP on the issue of Dalits and Opposition parties allege that it is the upper castes which dominates RSS.
